If you are planning on adding an en-suite to the new loft room, then you will need a pressurized heating system (mega flow or combi boiler) this also frees up more space in the house as the hot water cylinder will not be required. The new Fire Regulations introduced in February 2007 mean that all internal habitable doors have to be upgraded to 30 minutes fire protection, this does not mean changing the doors in all cases, as there are other methods in fire protection which we can advise.
